Dear Friends and Family,
Happy August. Praying for you all as school starts again here in the states. In Guatemala, our school year is coming to an end. We are SO excited that three of our students will graduate from the virtual school this year. If we had not have started this school, these students would not have had the opportunity to finish their education!
We have other exciting news. These three students have also been accepted into the HOPE program at TELUS International call center. They are learning English in classes at TELUS 8 hours a day. At the same time, they are finishing up their high school classes in the evenings and on Saturdays. We are SO excited for this opportunity for our students. After they finish their English classes at TELUS, they have the opportunity to be offered a job working at the call center. This will be a life changing opportunity for them. Please keep them in your prayers as they finish up their high school classed and continue their English classes.

Standing with us are Christian, Mario and Andrea. These are the students that will graduate this year, just as they were staring their classes at TELUS International.
We are excited that we will be able to return to Guatemala the week of Nov 20-26 this year for the graduation of these students. We have a party planned for them and their families to celebrate this wonderful achievement for them!
All of the students have worked SO hard this year. They will be finishing up their classes by the end of August, but they will continue to have enrichment classes for the next few months.
We already have three new students that will join the school in January, to take the place of the students that are graduating. We are expanding the school up to more students next year. If you are interested in sponsoring a student for school next year, please contact us. We can explain how you can help a student as they continue their education!
We are so humbled by al that God continues to do in the ministry in Guatemala. We thank you all for your prayers and support!
